News: Cold Steel's "Forgotten Tragedy" Added To Rock Band Network For Gameplay

Omaha-based hard rock band Cold Steel has just added their song, "Forgotten Tragedy", to the Rock Band Network for gameplay on the XBox360.

"Forgotten Tragedy", a song from Cold Steel's October 2009 EP "See You Again", was produced by Grammy-nominated Tom Tatman (Stone Sour) and was charted by Rhythm Authors for play in Rock Band 2.

"We're really honored to have our song added to the Rock Band Network, and couldn't be happier with the results", said Cold Steel lead singer Alex DiBaise. "There are already videos of people across the U.S. playing the track. It's pretty amazing, and from what I understand it's pretty challenging to play, too."

Drummer Gage McClain added, "Rhythm Authors did a terrific job in bringing our music to the Rock Band Network. They were so professional and great to work with, we had a blast."

"Forgotten Tragedy" can be downloaded at http://www.rockband.com/songs/UGC_5003176 on the XBox360 platform for Rock Band 2.

Omaha hard rock band Cold Steel has inked a distribution deal for their compilation CD, "First Five". Sweet Sounds / Republic Records will handle the digital distribution of "First Five" to over 1,000 stores worldwide, and Sweet Sounds will also distribute the physical CD in Best Buy stores nationwide.

New York-based Sweet Sounds Music & Management is headed by Ron Berman. A&R contact for the company is Duke Jackson.

Omaha-based hard rock band Cold Steel has released their first single and official music video off of their new EP SEE YOU AGAIN entitled "Forgotten Tragedy".

The music video was shot in the band's hometown of Omaha, inside an abandoned church. The music video was shot in HD by Omaha-based Stardog Productions and can be viewed at the link below:
